As an IT executive, I have more than 20 years of experience in managing international IT and transformation projects, in technology consulting and in leading line organisations.
My focus is on managing complex programmes – from the introduction of global ERP and procurement systems to compliance and reporting solutions. I have been responsible for budgets of up to EUR 30 million and have successfully led international teams of up to 65 employees. My successes include the implementation of standard software and SaaS solutions (SAP S/4, SAP Ariba, Workiva, EcoVadis) as well as the implementation of custom developments (Java, SAP BTP), always with the aim of digitising processes, ensuring compliance and increasing efficiency. My strong hands-on mentality allows me to manage projects successfully, both strategically and operationally.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to speak the language of business and IT. I position the IT as a business enabler – from strategic alignment to successful implementation and operations. My broad technical background and ability to communicate complex issues in a way that is appropriate for the target audience enable me to translate the requirements of the functional departments into viable, technically sound solutions and create measurable business value. I draw on cross-industry experience in retail, financial and insurance services, as well as in industrial and automotive companies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders up to C-level.
I have diverse experience in leading managers, steering transformation projects in matrix organisations and taking responsibility for international teams (onshore/nearshore/offshore). It was an integral part of my studies at the University of Applied Sciences Gelsenkirchen in Bocholt, Germany, that the students work for half a year. However, it was my choice to go abroad.

Tuxia in Sydney uses a Linux-only environment to develop software for Internet devices such as set-top boxes and thin-clients. I worked on various projects involving Mozilla and Embedded Linux.

During my studies I especially enjoyed that I learned about the software- and also the hardware-aspects of information technology. My lectures included programming in C/C++, electrical engineering, Digitial Signal Processing (DSP), etc., but also lectures about economics, project & quality management, etc.
Apart from the lectures, I was part of the Linux workgroup where we built our own Linux-from-Scratch-systems and the team that organized the annual ComputerCamp. At this event computer enthusiastics camp for one week at the university and work on fascinating projects.
